Faveo uses the API of SMS service providers to send OTP codes, password reset link and other notifications to customers on their mobile numbers registered using SMS plugin of Faveo.

• Verify OTP: Some companies need correct information about their customers like mobile number, email, etc. So Faveo built this plugin to send OTP codes to customer’s mobile number. When a new user registers his account in the system, an OTP code will be sent to users to verify and activate their account. Resend OTP if OTP has expired or not received.
• Verify mobile phone number: When users/agents/admin update their mobile number in their profile, they will receive an OTP code to verify their new number. The mobile number will not be updated until the new number is verified.

Notifications: Faveo will send various notifications to customers & Agents via SMS for various events occurring in the system.
